Wasn't I Worth It?

me, school ministry, couseling, Bible, child, small group, Little Tubbies, Wednesday, land
me, child, single, Good News Club, counseling, Chicago, portrait.jpg

I know the group was small tonight
We didn't talk much
Didn't have much to say
There were too many things on my mind

You thought I didn't listen
To your lesson
To your application
But I learned a lot tonight
Wasn't I worth it?

We came alone today
Just my brother and I
The other kids didn't show
Too many things asked for their time

But I needed your attention
I've been feeling lonely lately
Didn't think anyone saw me
Till you showed up in my life
Wasn't I worth it?

You don't have numbers that impress
People wonder about your ministry
You work so hard
But wonder if the seeds just died

But you told the story faithfully
About God's Son
About His love
And I was the only one who believed
Wasn't I worth it?
